Stephen King's short story "Nightshift" becomes a television movie called "Battleground" on the "Nightmares & Dreamscapes" series. William Hurt has the non-speaking lead as a cool, calculating stone cold killer - but he does it strictly for the money. When the tables are turned and a battalion of green toy soldiers belonging to a murdered toymaker come to life and try to take his life, Hurt is forced to rely on raw emotion to save his skin.
